FEAST WORLD KITCHEN
FPC is a landlord, strong partner, and volunteer base for this burgeoning new nonprofit, which is transforming the former “Sushi Yama / Arctic Circle” building into a new restaurant that empowers refugee chef-entrepreneurs in Spokane.
MANZANITA HOUSE
Rooted in Welcome. Manzanita House is devoted to creating space where all immigrants have a place at the table to freely and fully participate in community. Their mission is to embrace, equip, and empower immigrants through access to culturally informed essential services, and facilitate connections to grow deeper roots and thrive in Spokane.
THRIVE
Thrive International is a Spokane based organization that provides transitional housing to refugee and immigrant communities and empowers refugee women and youth to thrive.
GLOBAL NEIGHBORHOOD
Global Neighborhood offers pathways to employment for our neighbors who have come to Spokane as refugees, providing work through our sustainable, accessible thrift and vintage store. Refugees receive job training, income, and a community of support to rebuild their lives in the U.S.
WORLD RELIEF
World Relief Spokane currently provides refugee resettlement assistance, employment services, micro-enterprise loans, immigration services and works to raise awareness and serve victims of human trafficking. World Relief seeks to empower the local Church to serve these most vulnerable.
INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE IN SPOKANE
The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and immigrants seeking citizenship to thrive in America.
REFUGEE & IMMIGRANT CONNECTIONS SPOKANE
Refugee and Immigrant Connections Spokane supports and empowers refugee and immigrant communities by providing services, fostering community bonds, and advocating for refugee and immigrant rights in the Inland Northwest.
BARTON ENGLISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL AT FPC
Barton strives to foster an environment of safety and belonging for the international community of Spokane. Educational professionals and experienced volunteers are dedicated to walking through the language learning process with students.
