Fascinating Bible Studies on Every Parable by Dr. William H. Marty
This book provides short studies on each parable found in the Bible. Jesus used parables to teach his followers about the kingdom of God and we will focus on applying the lessons of each parable to our daily lives. Our weekly meetings start at 6:00 and include Fellowship, Large Group Study Discussion, and Small Prayer Groups for question discussions and praying for each other. We also value fellowship times after our meetings and throughout the month.
Sign up here or call the church at (509)747-1058. Indicate whether you want us to order a book for you (cost: $13) or you will order it on your own.

The Struggle is Real: Approaches to Conflict in Relationships
Facilitated by Dr. Joy York
Nov 17 - Dec 1 … Fireside Room
Conflict is an inevitable part of our relationships with co-workers, friends, and family. The quality of our relationships depends not on whether or not we have conflict, but on our responses during times of conflict. While it can be difficult to manage at times, conflict offers us the opportunity to work with others toward deeper understanding and for peace. In this interactive 3-week series, we will examine how to address conflict from a biblical perspective and research in this area, and offer practical conflict management skills that you can use in your relationships.
Dr. Joy York is an Associate Professor in Communication Studies at Whitworth University. Her teaching and research focus on the practice of communication in leadership, relationships, and in organizations. When she is not teaching, Dr. York partners with local non-profit, for-profit and civic organizations to facilitate training and consulting initiatives that focus on organizational & leadership development.
